Week of May 13

It's almost June and that means on top of all our Pride-based social obligations, we also have an absolute avalance of Queer cinema coming to LA next month. Programs are still being announced, but here are some upcoming highlights covering the past and future of Queer film:

Full of Pleasure: The Beginnings of New Queer Cinema

Jun 15 - Jul 11, Adacemy Museum

The Academy Museum gives a grand tour of the 1990s cinema revolution that made explicitly Queer stories a cultural force. Can't miss classics like My Own Private Idaho, Young Soul Rebels, Go Fish, Paris is Burning and more fill this epic month of programming--culminating in a night with Killer Films founder and queer film super-producer Christine Vachon.
