This short film program includes the following films:

Kiev Blue
Nine Russian lesbians and gay men give us an idea what gay life in Russia is like in these honest interviews. They discuss growing up, coming-out, forming a community and the political climate in which they live.

The Battle of Tutenhaus
The Tuntenhaus or “House of Queers” was originally a squat on Mainzer Str. in East Berlin. This gritty verité documentary follows the fortunes of the Tuntenhaus through the days of anarchy and riots that followed German reunification to the sudden invasion by 3000 West German police, armed with tanks and tear gas in a massive operation to evict them.

Gay Youth
Two coming-out stories. One is tragic: Bobby Griffith commits suicide at the age of 20. The other has a happy end: Gina Gutierrez, a 17-year-old girl, finds support for her sexual identity.
