Pink Ulysses is an intoxicating brew of muscular bodies, operatic tableaux and music from Zarah Leander to Stravinsky's 'Rites of Spring.' In fact, if Pink Narcissus were re-made for the '90s, this cultish cross between a Steve Reeves sandal-and-sword epic and a homoerotic Homer would probably be the mind boggling result. Pink Ulysses redefines camp for the MTV generation with wit and saturated color. A knockout kickoff to this year's festival!
