Just because Pride month is ending doesn't mean LA's cinemas are getting any less queer. On top of ongoing programs, two newly announced screening series will keep the Queer movies going strong all summer.

It's a very busy week for Queer cinema in LA, and an even busier week for film critic, writer, and podcaster Alonso Duralde! Alonso's new book is Hollywood Pride: A Celebration of LGBTQ+ Representation and Perseverance in Film, a history of Queer cinema from Edison's laboratory through to the present.
